The Petersons: A birthday, a trip and some family fun!

Evva's first birthday is over, our baby is not a baby anymore:( She is quite the happy little girl though, always on the go giving her brother a run for his money! Evva's beach birthday party was a lot of fun, unfortunately I didn't get a lot of pictures - but thank you to Lisa who took some on my camera for me :) Evva received a lot of wonderful gifts, many of which Layne laid claim to - until the novelty wore off and he resumed playing with his trucks again!

Todd and I had a wonderful, relaxing mini vacation at Country Charm Resort for our anniversary. It was nice to get away and reconnect and do absolutely anything we wanted to do without having to worry about the kids for 3 days! We went fishing, bike riding, played horseshoes, pool and badminton. We watched a lot of movies and went for walks too, it was a really nice place!

On the long weekend we hung out and had some family time. We went to the zoo, (our very favorite place to go together) and played in our backyard playground!
